Psychic energy or vital energy is the term used to describe aspects of the supposed power generated by thoughts and emotions.
As the name implies, this energy is fed by its connection to life. It is key because through it we draw the strength to achieve everything we want in life, we go through challenges, and with this energy we follow our soul’s path.
The vital energy comes in when we breath in, it runs throughout our body revitalizing our cells at all levels, and we unload all stagnant energy by exhaling. This energy is this magnetism that people get when their eyes sparkle, which makes their body move, and makes you breathe, eat and talk.
According to our everyday choices, we are able to feed this energy or let it run away from our body through addictions, negative and obsessive thoughts, bad habits, unhealthy diet, hectic life, toxic companies, lack of forgiveness, personal lies, by not living in the present or focusing on other people’s lives, for example.
In addition, we may create energy blocks in certain parts of the body and consequently manifest physical, emotional, mental and spiritual unbalance which may be very well reflected by attitudes such as worry, fear, anger, sadness, low self esteem, stress, depression, discouragement, etc. The bad management and constancy of these emotions will cause disease and attract more negative events in our lives. The cycle feeds itself.
Everything that happens in one level reflects on the other, so we should see ourselves as a whole and try to keep us in harmony in order for the life energy to flow freely. So what can we do? Nourishing healthy relationships and positive environments, listening to good music, reading good books, investing in self-development, getting to know yourself and connecting with nature are some good ways to feed your vital energy.
Your emotional state of mind is the starting point for everything that happens in your life because you are able to manage challenging situations and attract more positive ones if you keep it in good stands.
